This policy applies to all users of KlearPay services in India. By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
KlearPay is operated by KLOUDFIRST NEXTGEN SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
When you use KlearPay, you may provide us with:
- Name and mobile number
- Email address (optional)
- Loan-related information such as EMI amount, interest rate, remaining tenure, and lender name
Important: We do not collect PAN, Aadhaar, or bank login credentials. We never ask for or store your bank usernames, passwords, or PINs.
2.2 Information collected via Account Aggregator (AA)
If you choose to use Account Aggregator features:
- Account Aggregator is RBI-regulated infrastructure
- Data is accessed only with your explicit consent
- We receive bank account metadata and transaction data where applicable
- No bank credentials are shared with KlearPay
2.3 Automatically collected information
We automatically collect certain information for stability, security, and analytics:
- Device information such as model and OS version
- App usage logs and analytics
- IP address
- Crash logs and error reports
- Cookies for website functionality
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Calculate loan repayment projections and show interest and time savings
- Manage repayment-related calculations and virtual pot logic where applicable
- Trigger notifications and reminders about repayments
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Improve product performance and user experience
What we do not do: We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data for advertising profiling. We do not share your information with lenders for marketing purposes.
4. Payments and financial data handling
- KlearPay does not store card details
- KlearPay does not store UPI credentials
- Payments are handled by regulated payment gateways
- KlearPay does not hold or custody funds
- All repayments flow directly from you to your lender
5. Data sharing and disclosure
We may share your information only in these circumstances:
- Account Aggregator ecosystem: as part of RBI-regulated AA infrastructure with your consent
- Payment gateway: for executing repayments to your lender
- SMS and WhatsApp providers: for sending notifications and reminders
- Legal requirements: when required by law or regulatory authorities
We do not share with: third-party advertisers, data brokers, or any entity for selling personal data.
6. Data retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.
Once you revoke Account Aggregator consent, data flow stops immediately. We periodically purge backups to ensure deleted data is removed.
7. User rights and control
You have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of your personal data
- Correct: update or correct inaccurate information
- Delete: request deletion of your account and data
- Revoke AA consent: withdraw Account Aggregator access at any time
- Opt out: disable notifications and marketing communications

8. Security measures
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Encryption of data at rest and in transit
- Access controls and authentication
- Audit logs for security monitoring

9. Children's privacy
KlearPay is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through the app. The latest version will always be available on our website.
